Child Passenger Safety
The Fire Prevention Team are Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Educators certified by BCAA. A Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Educator is a community leader with specialized training on how to keep child passengers safe. They are a valuable resource for parents, schools, public health, police, and other groups in their community. CPS Educators support CPS education in many ways including: information sessions, hands-on workshops, instructional clinics, public awareness campaigns and many other initiatives.
We can help parents fit their car seats to current laws. Please book an appointment using our Public Education Request Form or by calling (604) 885-7017 extention 5 (or 6).
On the day of your appointment please park in the front parking lot, enter the building, and await a staff member who will assist you with your car seat installation. The Fire Hall is located at 5525 Trail Avenue.
