2023 Sunshine Coast Campfire Ban Rescinded
As of 12:00pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2023, the Coastal Fire Centre has rescinded the campfire ban.
Wednesday, September 27, 2023: Burn Ban Rescinded
The Coastal Fire Centre has removed all burning restrictions. The Coastal Fire Centre covers ALL area of the Sunshine Coast including: public, private, park, beach, and shÃshálh Nation lands.
Campfires, binary exploding targets, burn barrels, and burn cages are PERMITTED.
Gas powered fire rings are PERMITTED with flame height less than 15cm.
Briquette barbecues are PERMITTED, dispose of ashes properly.
