2022 Provincial Campfire Ban Rescinded

As of Tuesday, September 20,2022 at 12 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) campfires are once again PERMITTED

As of Tuesday, September 20,2022 at 12 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) campfires are no longer prohibited throughout the Coastal Fire Centre. This includes all land in the District of Sechelt and shíshálh Nation, Crown lands, beaches, public, and private lands where fire is permitted. Read here for complete details on fires and activities currently permitted in the Coastal Fire Centre.

Due to the continued drought and diminished water supply we urge users to exercise extreme caution and responsibility with their fires and have means to extinguish their fires completely at any time.
