2022 Sunshine Coast Campfire Ban Rescinded

As of Friday, November 4,2022 at 12 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) campfires are once again PERMITTED.

Friday, November 4, 2022: Campfires are once again PERMITTED on in the District of Sechelt and shishahl Nation lands. The return of seasonal weather and recent rainfall have eased fire risk conditions. A reminder to always be responsible with campfires and fully extinguish them when you’re done.
